Duties Supervise children during after school hours, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times Plan and execute engaging educational activities that support early childhood education and development Manage classroom behavior through effective behavior management strategies and positive reinforcement Assist with homework help, tutoring sessions, and skill-building exercises tailored to individual needs Incorporate creative programs such as arts, theater, sports coaching, or music to enrich children's experiences Maintain open communication with parents or guardians regarding children's progress and behavior Ensure compliance with safety protocols including first aid procedures and child safety regulations Experience Prior experience working with children in settings such as daycare, camp, tutoring, or childcare environments is highly preferred Knowledge of childhood development principles and early childhood education best practices Demonstrated classroom management skills to foster a respectful and productive learning environment Certifications in first aid and CPR are advantageous but not mandatory; training can be provided if needed Experience with special education needs or behavioral management techniques is a plus Ability to engage children through creative activities like theater or sports coaching enhances the role further Join us in creating a joyful, safe, and inspiring after-school experience!
