To Be Determined Job Description We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Special Education Teacher to join our team. The ideal candidate will be committed to supporting students with diverse learning needs by creating inclusive, engaging, and individualized educational experiences.
QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor's degree in Education or related field Valid state teaching certificate in Special Education Strong understanding of IEP development and implementation Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment Patience, empathy, and a passion for helping students succeed
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Develop, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) for students with special needs Adapt general education curriculum to meet individual student needs Provide direct instruction in a variety of settings (inclusive classrooms, small groups, or one-on-one) Collaborate with general education teachers, therapists, and support staff Maintain accurate records of student progress and communicate regularly with parents/guardians Use data-driven strategies to assess student growth and adjust instruction accordingly Support students' social, emotional, and behavioral development Ensure compliance with federal, state, and district special education regulations
