Desired Experience & Qualifications:
Valid Special Education Teacher certification in Texas Previous experience working with students with diverse needs and abilities Familiarity with developing and implementing Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) Strong classroom management skills and a collaborative mindset Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities with students, staff, and caregivers
Responsibilities:
Deliver engaging instruction tailored to each student's unique learning needs Develop, update, and monitor progress on Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) Work closely with general education teachers and support staff to foster an inclusive classroom environment Maintain accurate records and documentation in compliance with school and state guidelines Communicate regularly with parents and guardians regarding student development and progress Participate in IEP meetings, professional development, and collaborative planning sessions
