Job Description

Primary Purpose:
Coordinate student teacher placements and support the district's new hire onboarding process while providing administrative and receptionist support for the Human Resources department. Serve as a primary point of contact for applicants, university partners, employees, and visitors by ensuring efficient communication, accurate record keeping, and excellent customer service. Qualifications Education/Certification
  • High school diploma or GED required
  • Associate's degree preferred Special Knowledge/Skills
  • Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and manage sensitive information
  • Knowledge of general office procedures and customer service practices
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, and data entry systems
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines efficiently
  • Ability to work collaboratively with campus and district personnel Experience
  • Previous clerical, administrative, or human resources experience preferred
  • Experience working in a school district environment preferred
  • Bilingual Preferred Major Responsibilities and Duties New Hire Coordinator
  • Coordinate onboarding activities for newly hired employees
  • Assist new employees with completing employment paperwork and required documentation
  • Schedule fingerprinting, orientation sessions, and other onboarding requirements
  • Monitor completion of employment requirements and follow up as needed
  • Prepare and maintain employee personnel files and onboarding records Student Teacher Coordinator
  • Serve as district liaison for colleges and universities regarding student teacher and field observation placements
  • Coordinate student teacher/observer assignments with campus administrators
  • Maintain records of student teacher/observer requests, placements, and agreements
  • Communicate district expectations, requirements, and timelines to student teachers/observers and university representatives
  • Assist with orientation and onboarding processes for student teachers
  • Maintain required documentation and ensure compliance with district procedures Human Resources Reception and Administrative Support
  • Greet and assist visitors, applicants, employees, and callers in a professional and courteous manner
  • Respond to inquiries and direct individuals to appropriate personnel or departments
  • Maintain HR office records, files, and correspondence
  • Assist with processing and distributing HR forms and documents
  • Support HR staff with clerical and administrative duties, including data entry, scheduling, filing, and mail distribution
  • Maintain confidentiality regarding employee and district information
  • Assist with employment events, job fairs, and recruiting activities as needed Other
  • Compile, maintain, and file reports, records, and other required documents
  • Follow district safety protocols and administrative procedures
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the Director of Human Resources or designee Working Conditions Mental Demands
