Job Description

Category Schools - Educational Diagnostician Job Type Contract Step into a meaningful contract opportunity where your expertise as an Educational Diagnostician will shape positive outcomes for students. This full-time, on-site role offers the chance to make a direct impact by supporting 1-2 schools throughout the academic year. Your specialized skills will support educational teams, parents, and students in developing and implementing successful learning plans.
Desired Qualifications and Experience:
Certification as an Educational Diagnostician (required) Previous experience working in a school setting as an Educational Diagnostician Strong knowledge of special education regulations, assessment tools, and evaluation processes Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams Proficient in conducting individualized educational evaluations and interpreting assessment data Organizational ability to manage caseloads across multiple school sites Detail-oriented and adaptable to a dynamic educational environment
Primary Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive educational assessments for referred students, interpreting results and creating evaluation reports Collaborate closely with teachers, administrators, and parents to assist in designing and modifying individualized education plans (IEPs) Serve as a resource for staff regarding educational and assessment questions Participate in Admission, Review, and Dismissal (ARD) meetings and provide recommendations that drive student growth Travel between assigned schools to provide diagnostic services and ensure consistency of support Maintain accurate documentation in compliance with district and state requirements Benefit from the stability of a full-time contract and the rewarding experience of fostering educational success for students near Tyler, TX.
