Qualifications and Experience:
Active state Special Education teaching certification Proven experience working with students with disabilities or special needs Strong understanding of IEP development and implementation Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to adapt instruction to varying learning styles and needs Dedication to creating a compassionate and inclusive learning environment
Key Responsibilities:
Design and deliver engaging lessons for students receiving special education services Develop, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) Provide both small-group and one-on-one instruction to support student progress Collaborate with general education teachers, aides, and related service providers Maintain accurate and timely documentation of student assessments and progress Communicate regularly with parents and guardians, sharing updates and strategies for student success Participate in professional development, staff meetings, and IEP reviews as required
