Category Schools - Special Education Teacher Job Type Contract Shape the future of student success as a Special Education Teacher! We are seeking dedicated professionals for four rewarding contract positions for the upcoming 26/27 school year. There are multiple opportunities available:
Two elementary (K-5) inclusion teaching positions One elementary (K-5) self-contained classroom role One middle school (grades 6-8) inclusion teaching opportunity Each role is full-time, offering 37.5 hours per week, and comes with invaluable para support in the classroom.
Ideal Qualifications:
Valid Special Education teaching certification (or eligibility for certification) Bachelor's degree in Special Education or a related field; master's degree preferred Experience providing specialized instruction in inclusion or self-contained settings Knowledge of IEP processes and adapting lessons to diverse learning needs Strong collaboration skills and the ability to communicate effectively with students, staff, and families Commitment to fostering an inclusive, encouraging classroom environment
What You'll Do:
Design and deliver individualized lesson plans aligned with student IEPs Differentiate instruction to accommodate a range of abilities and learning styles Work closely with general education teachers, support staff, and administrators Maintain accurate records and document student progress Promote social-emotional growth and advocate for student needs Partner with families to enhance student outcomes Experience the fulfillment of helping students achieve milestones and the camaraderie of a passionate team.
