Job Description

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. Make a meaningful difference in the lives of students with exceptionalities as a Special Education Teacher in a supportive, school-based setting. This opportunity offers a contract position for experienced educators who are passionate about inclusive learning environments. You'll work directly with small groups of students in a co-teaching model, providing both direct instruction and collaborative support to classroom teachers.
Key qualifications:
Valid Special Education Teacher certification (state-issued, active, and clear) Demonstrated experience supporting diverse learners in elementary and/or middle school settings Familiarity with co-teaching, differentiated instruction, and individualized education plans (IEPs) Strong communication and collaboration abilities Commitment to fostering an inclusive, positive, and nurturing classroom culture Ability to adapt instructional strategies to meet multiple learning needs Available for the entire contract duration Primary responsibilities: Deliver high-quality instruction to students in grades 3-4 (elementary) and grades 7-8 (middle school) within co-taught classrooms Modify and adapt curriculum materials to meet individual student goals and accommodations Collaborate daily with general education teachers and support staff Develop and carry out IEPs in accordance with district and legal requirements Assess student progress and maintain thorough records and documentation Engage actively with families, administrators, and team members to promote student success Position details: Full-time contract (37.5 hours/week), onsite Assignments across two school locations, both with caseloads of fewer than 10 students per setting School year dates: August 19, 2026, through June 4, 2027 Two positions are available for qualified educators If you are eager to make a positive impact and build lasting connections with students and staff, apply now to join a committed educational community.
