Job Description

A rewarding opportunity is available for an experienced Special Education Teacher ready to make a difference at the high school level. This full-time contract assignment is situated close to Warrenton, VA and presents the chance to support students in both general education and self-contained classroom settings. You'll join a collaborative educational community committed to student growth, with a manageable caseload of 14.
Qualifications & Experience:
Valid Special Education Teacher certification (state requirements must be met) Prior teaching experience in high school special education preferred Proficiency with both general education integration and self-contained classroom instruction Strong communication skills with students, families, and staff Ability to develop differentiated lesson plans to accommodate diverse learning styles Organizational skills to manage caseload, documentation, and progress records
Key Responsibilities:
