You'll work closely with a small class of five K-5 students, each supported by a dedicated 1:1 paraprofessional, ensuring every child receives the personalized care and structure they need to thrive. Your assignment will run from October to December, offering a chance to make a lasting impact during a leave of absence period. As part of a collaborative and supportive educational setting, your expertise will help guide both students and staff in implementing best practices for special education.
Desired Qualifications:
Valid Special Education Teacher certification with the skills to support K-5 learners Experience working with students on the autism spectrum and managing significant behaviors Strong background in individualized education plan (IEP) implementation and data collection Ability to collaborate effectively with paraprofessionals, therapists, and families Skilled in fostering an inclusive, nurturing classroom community
Key Responsibilities:
