Duties Develop and deliver tailored lesson plans that accommodate each student's unique learning profile and goals Implement evidence-based teaching methods to support students with neurodevelopmental disorders and intellectual disabilities Monitor student progress regularly, adjusting instructional strategies as needed to maximize engagement and achievement Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including therapists, counselors, and families, to ensure comprehensive support for each student Provide first aid and CPR when necessary, maintaining a safe classroom environment at all times Support students in developing social skills, independence, and life skills through structured activities and positive reinforcement Maintain detailed documentation of student progress, behavior incidents, and individualized education plans (IEPs) Experience Prior experience working with individuals from underserved communities or diverse cultural backgrounds is highly valued Demonstrated experience supporting students with neurodevelopmental disorders such as autism spectrum disorder or ADHD Knowledge of first aid procedures and CPR certification is preferred or willingness to obtain upon hire Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with families, colleagues, and external professionals Ability to create an inclusive classroom environment that promotes respect, understanding, and active participation Join us in shaping brighter futures!
