As a WA-certified Special Education Teacher, you'll focus on maintaining IEP compliance and monitoring student progress-without the need for direct classroom instruction. Your attention to detail and commitment to student growth will help ensure every student's educational plan stays on track in a flexible, remote contract opportunity.

Desired Qualifications:

Active Washington state certification in Special Education Previous experience supporting IEP development and compliance, ideally with K-8 students Strong organization and document management skills Solid understanding of IEP regulations and documentation standards Comfortable using online platforms and tools for remote collaboration Ability to communicate clearly and professionally with families and staff

Core Responsibilities:

Review and monitor student IEPs and track progress toward goals for compliance Document all communications, modifications, and updates related to IEPs in accordance with state and program guidelines Collaborate virtually with families, school teams, and other related service providers as needed Ensure all records are up-to-date and meet audit requirements Participate in virtual IEP meetings to provide updates and recommendations when appropriate Respond promptly to inquiries about student plans and program documentation This role lets you apply your expertise to support students' success from home while maintaining a healthy work-life balance.
