In this role, you will create engaging lesson plans, foster a positive learning environment, and support the diverse needs of your students. Responsibilities Develop and implement comprehensive lesson plans aligned with curriculum standards and individual student needs Utilize innovative learning technology and instructional design techniques to enhance classroom engagement Assess student progress through standardized testing, formative assessments, and ongoing observation Adapt teaching strategies to accommodate students with disabilities, including those with autism, visual impairments, or developmental disabilities Collaborate with special education teams to develop and monitor Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) Manage classroom behavior effectively through positive reinforcement and behavioral management techniques Provide mentorship and academic advising to support students' social and emotional well-being Incorporate speech therapy, music therapy, or recreational therapy methods when appropriate to enrich learning experiences Maintain accurate records of student performance, attendance, and behavioral reports Foster a safe, inclusive environment that promotes respect, creativity, and curiosity among all children Requirements Bachelor's degree in Education, Child Development, Special Education or related field; advanced certifications preferred Proven classroom experience in early childhood education or preschool settings Knowledge of childhood development principles and best practices in literacy education, math instruction, physical education, and library services Experience working with children with disabilities or special needs; familiarity with IEP processes is highly desirable Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with colleagues, parents, and specialists Ability to manage classroom behavior proactively and create an engaging learning environment Familiarity with learning technology tools and instructional design methods for diverse learners Certification or licensure as required by local educational authorities or state law Join us in shaping the future by nurturing young minds!
