Job Description

Embark on a rewarding opportunity as a Special Education Teacher serving students across the full range of grade levels, from early childhood to high school. This contract role begins September 1 and runs through June 4, offering the ability to make a meaningful difference throughout the academic year. Located in the Appleton, WI area, you'll work full-time in a supportive environment dedicated to inclusive education and student success. Your assignment will span three distinct sites: one early childhood setting (cross-categorical), one elementary location (cross-categorical), and one high school (cross-categorical). This diverse experience allows you to impact learners at every developmental stage, with a consistent schedule and strong team collaboration.
Qualifications & Requirements:
Valid DPI license Cross-Categorical Special Education - 1801 certification in the grade levels assigned (early childhood, elementary, and/or high school) Previous experience or strong interest in working with cross-categorical special education students Excellent communication skills for effective teamwork with staff, families, and community partners Ability to adapt instruction and interventions for individual student needs Strong organizational and time-management abilities
