A Special Education Teacher teaches students who have disabilities, and adapts teaching methods to meet the needs of students. Assesses students and helps to develop individualized education plans that specify the services and accommodations needed for each student. Works in a classroom that includes only students with IEPs, or works with students and teachers in regular classes. For students with severe disabilities, may focus on developing skills for independent living. Works as part of a team that includes therapists, school counselors or social workers.

Floating Teacher- Full-Time Are you a passionate and dedicated individual ready to work with infants and toddlers in a structured yet creative environment? Edgar Child Care Inc is seeking a Teacher to join our team. If you are eager to learn and committed to professional growth, we want to hear from you!
Qualifications & Skills Age:
Must be at least 18 years of age .
Education:
High School Diploma or GED is required.
Training:
Previous childcare teacher experience is desired, but we will mentor the right candidate .
Credentials:
Childcare training, classes, certificates, college credits, or degrees are highly valued. Knowledge (Helpful): Experience and knowledge of Licensing Rules and Regulations, YoungStar, Creative Curriculum, and WEMLS is helpful but not necessary.
Job Responsibilities and Duties Curriculum & Activities:
Plan and provide a variety of engaging educational experiences, including art, music and movement, literature, math and science, nature, sensory, and cooking.
Documentation:
Provide curriculum plans, individual child development profiles, and other records as needed.
Compliance:
Understand and follow all Edgar Child Care Inc. Policies, Employee & Parent Handbooks, and fulfill scheduled hours.
Professional Growth:
Attend staff meetings and professional development trainings, and complete all Continuing Education requirements.
Position Details & Benefits Schedule:
Full-time position, Monday through Friday with flexible scheduling.
