In this role, you will serve as a versatile classroom facilitator, stepping into various teaching environments to support student learning and development. Your energetic approach will help foster a nurturing, engaging atmosphere that promotes curiosity, literacy, and social-emotional growth among young learners. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to work across different classrooms, enriching your experience in early childhood education and making a positive impact on children's lives. Duties Assist lead teachers in implementing curriculum development plans tailored to diverse age groups, including toddlers and preschoolers Support classroom management by encouraging positive behavior and fostering a safe, inclusive environment for all children Engage children in age-appropriate activities that promote literacy education, math skills, physical education, and social skills Help with lesson planning and classroom setup to ensure smooth daily operations aligned with educational standards such as Montessori and other early childhood frameworks Work directly with children to support their developmental milestones in areas like childhood development, early intervention, and child welfare Collaborate with staff on individualized strategies for children requiring special education or additional support Maintain clear communication with parents and team members about children's progress and classroom activities Assist in maintaining a clean, organized classroom environment that adheres to childcare regulations and safety protocols Experience Prior classroom experience in early childhood education or daycare settings is highly preferred Demonstrated knowledge of curriculum development, lesson planning, and classroom management techniques Experience working with children of various ages, including toddlers and preschoolers, especially in private school or daycare environments Familiarity with special education practices, behavior management strategies, and early intervention programs Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with colleagues, parents, and students Knowledge of standardized testing methods relevant to early childhood education is a plus Experience with Montessori methods or other specialized educational approaches such as literacy education or physical education instruction is advantageous Join us as a Floater Teacher and be part of a dedicated team committed to nurturing young minds through engaging lessons, compassionate care, and innovative teaching practices.
