Key Qualifications:
Valid Special Education Teacher certification in Wisconsin (Cross Categorical preferred) Experience with individualized education programs (IEPs) and differentiated instruction Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with staff and families Ability to create a positive, inclusive classroom climate for students with diverse needs Organizational skills to manage documentation and student progress monitoring Flexible mindset to adapt instruction and interventions as necessary
Responsibilities:
Develop and implement engaging lesson plans tailored to students' individual learning styles and abilities Monitor and track student progress, maintaining appropriate documentation Participate in IEP meetings, offering insight and collaborating with team members to set goals Foster strong relationships with students, offering support and positive reinforcement Adapt materials and instructional approaches to meet a wide range of academic and behavioral needs Communicate regularly with parents, caregivers, and school staff to promote student growth and success Uphold district and state requirements, staying current with best practices in special education Enjoy the satisfaction of making a difference in students' lives each day, while gaining valuable experience in a supportive school setting.
