Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a passionate and dedicated 4K Teacher for the 2026-2027 academic year to inspire and nurture young learners in a vibrant early childhood education environment. As a 4K Teacher, you will play a vital role in fostering a love for learning, supporting child development, and creating a safe, engaging classroom where children can thrive. Your expertise in curriculum development, classroom management, and working with children will help lay the foundation for lifelong success. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact on early learners' lives while collaborating with a dynamic team of educators committed to excellence. Duties Develop and implement engaging, developmentally appropriate curriculum tailored to early childhood standards, including literacy, math, physical education, and Montessori methods. Create a nurturing classroom environment that promotes social-emotional growth, behavior management, and positive interactions among children. Plan and execute daily lesson plans that incorporate early intervention strategies and support diverse learning needs, including special education considerations. Manage classroom activities to ensure safety, discipline, and effective learning experiences for preschool-aged children. Collaborate with parents and guardians through regular communication about child progress, milestones, and welfare. Conduct assessments aligned with standardized testing requirements to monitor developmental progress and inform instruction. Incorporate child welfare practices into daily routines, ensuring health, safety, and well-being are prioritized at all times. Experience Prior classroom experience working with preschool or toddler-aged children in early childhood education settings. Demonstrated expertise in curriculum development across literacy education, math, physical education, and Montessori techniques. Experience working with children with diverse needs, including those requiring special education or early intervention services. Strong classroom management skills with the ability to foster positive behavior and create an inclusive environment. Knowledge of childhood development principles and best practices in childcare and daycare settings. Proven ability to communicate effectively with young children, parents, colleagues, and administrators. Experience in private school environments or similar educational institutions is preferred but not required. Pay:
$19.00 - $24.00 per hour
