- Special Education Teacher Job Type Contract Soliant Education is seeking qualified and dedicated Special Education Teachers for full-time, school-based opportunities throughout the Milwaukee, Wisconsin area and surrounding communities for the 2026-2027 school year.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Develop, implement, and maintain Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Provide specialized and differentiated instruction based on individual student needs and IEP goals
- Monitor student progress and use data to guide instructional decisions
- Adapt curriculum, instructional materials, and teaching strategies to support diverse learning needs
- Collaborate with general education teachers, related service providers, administrators, and families
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to educational planning and goal development
- Maintain accurate documentation, progress reports, and student records
- Foster a positive, structured, and inclusive learning environment
- Support students in developing academic, behavioral, social, and functional skills
POSITION DETAILS
- Full-time positions
- 2026-2027 school year
- School-based, on-site opportunities
- Multiple Special Education Teacher openings available throughout the Milwaukee area and surrounding communities
- Elementary, middle, and high school opportunities may be available
- Resource, inclusion, and self-contained classroom settings may be available
- Specific grade levels, caseloads, and classroom assignments will be discussed during the interview process
QUALIFICATIONS
- Active Wisconsin teaching license appropriate for the Special Education assignment required
- Previous Special Education or school-based teaching experience preferred
- Strong understanding of IEP development, implementation, and progress monitoring
- Knowledge of differentiated instruction and Special Education best practices
- Strong classroom management, communication, and collaboration skills
- Ability to effectively support students with a variety of learning needs SKILLS
