Qualifications and Desired Experience:
Valid Wisconsin Special Education Teacher credential Experience writing and implementing IEPs for students with diverse needs Ability to perform all general responsibilities required for Special Education Teachers Commitment to maintaining a strong work ethic and positive, collaborative attitude Flexible to work with a range of K-12 caseloads, adapting instruction as needed Growth mindset and dedication to ongoing professional learning
Primary Responsibilities:
Design and deliver instruction tailored to individual student goals and IEP requirements Provide academic, behavioral, and emotional support within self-contained and/or resource settings Collaborate with general education staff, related service providers, and families to ensure student progress Collect data and monitor progress, making timely adjustments to supports and interventions Participate in IEP meetings, contributing insights to best serve each student Maintain accurate documentation and compliance with state and federal guidelines Working here, you'll find a school community that values positivity, dedication, and innovation.
