Skifstad@oshkosh.k12.wi.us Phone 920-424-0077 Position Details Position Start Date 8/18/2026 Salary/Wage Starting $49,533.00 (26-27 Rates TBD) Appointment Type Part Time Description - Valid Wisconsin Department of Public Instruction teacher certification in one of the following respective classification - DPI Code Cross-Categorical Knowledge of Non-Violent Crisis Intervention (NVCI) strategies and techniques, or willingness to be trained. Ability to team with other special and regular education teachers and support staff to meet the needs of disabled students in the least restrictive environment. An understanding of the IEP process and the ability to assist in the evaluation of children possessing a variety of disabilities. Background in the use of supplementary materials to support students in elementary school core curriculum. Knowledge and experience in the utilization of behavior management systems including conducting Functional Behavioral Assessment and designing Behavioral Intervention Plans. Background in the use of social skills training models and interest/attitude scales. Knowledge of current best practices in the education of children with disabilities. Knowledge of and ability to interpret Functional Behavioral Assessments (FBAs) and apply Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs), in addition to writing and implementing Individual Education Plans. Such alternatives to the above qualifications as the Board may find appropriate and acceptable.
