Key Qualifications:
Valid Special Education Teaching certification recognized in Wisconsin Experience teaching cross-categorical special education preferred Ability to develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) Strong collaboration and communication abilities for working with students, families, and multidisciplinary teams Dedication to cultivating a supportive and inclusive environment for diverse learners Adaptability, problem-solving skills, and a positive, student-first approach
What You'll Do:
Deliver engaging instruction tailored to students' individual needs, strengths, and goals Foster classroom environments where every student feels valued and empowered Collaborate with general education teachers and support staff to provide appropriate accommodations and modifications Maintain accurate records and monitor student progress toward IEP goals Communicate proactively with families to encourage partnership in student growth Support students' personal and academic development using evidence-based strategies
