Job Description

Desired Qualifications:
Valid Special Education licensure with appropriate state certification Behavior Endorsements and experience supporting students with ASD/Intellectual Disabilities Previous experience with Autism programs at the elementary level, Early Childhood (EC), or high school intellectual disabilities Strong ability to develop and implement IEPs Demonstrated skills in classroom management and behavioral interventions Effective communication with students, staff, and families Commitment to fostering an inclusive, supportive learning atmosphere
Key Responsibilities:
Plan and deliver specialized instruction for students in one of the following programs: two elementary autism programs, one early childhood position, or one high school intellectual disability classroom Collaborate with general education staff to support student integration and progress Assess student abilities and adapt instruction based on individual needs and IEP objectives Develop, monitor, and regularly update IEPs in partnership with families and a multidisciplinary team Employ proactive behavior management strategies to encourage engagement and positive outcomes Maintain meticulous documentation regarding student progress, behavior intervention plans, and communication Participate fully in team meetings, professional learning communities, and ongoing trainings This is a full-time, onsite contract with a welcoming team of professionals dedicated to exceptional student support and continuous improvement.
