The ability to follow lesson plans, left by the permanent teacher. Teaching capabilities in assigned subject area(s). Excellent communications skills. The ability to address the various learning styles of students. The ability to implement strategies, activities and techniques for promoting quality student performance in both academic and social behavior based on a student's prior knowledge and experience. The ability to effectively contribute to and manage an individual program plan for students with special needs. The ability to create and maintain a climate of respect and fairness for all students. The ability to demonstrate fair and ethical judgments The ability to apply appropriate consequences for inappropriate student behavior. The ability to display problem solving, cooperative negotiating skills and conflict resolution strategies. The ability to use classroom instructional time appropriately and wisely Ability to work to implement the vision and mission of the District. Ability to observe and follow all school district policies at all times. Ability to keep student and personnel information and records confidential. Principal Physical Requirements/Environmental Conditions:

Must be prompt and reliable May be asked to perform duties typically for school settings including: classrooms, gymnasium, cafeteria, auditorium, and recreational areas. Frequent walking, standing, stooping, lifting, up to approximately 30 pounds and occasional lifting of equipment and/or materials weighing up to 40 pounds may be required. Other physical activities may be required. Occasional travel with students on field trips may be necessary. Must be appropriately dressed for assignment Must be able to work independently without continuous supervision. Must be able to perform teaching tasks with reasonable accommodation(s)

Qualifications :

Required - Arizona Department of Education Substitute, Teaching or Administrative Certificate Required - Attend One-Day District Orientation Valid Arizona IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card
