The end of the school year is the ideal time to step into a rewarding education role. We're actively hiring paraprofessionals and support staff to assist special education students. About Zen Educate Zen Educate partners with public and charter schools across various school districts. We help schools hire dedicated paraprofessionals and teaching assistants, creating smart, timely matches that support students with special education needs and build stronger school communities. As a Classroom Aide, you'll play an important role in creating a welcoming and functional classroom, supporting the teacher's efforts to deliver quality education by assisting with group activities and individual student needs.

Responsibilities:

• Assisting the classroom teacher
• Work with individual and (or) small groups of students to reinforce instructed material
• Assist in compiling classroom communications
• Maintain a classroom environment that is conducive to learning and a safe learning environment
• Utilize a variety of learning methods to enhance the student learning experiences and support them as needed
• Support with personal care or hygiene as needed, including toileting

Required Qualifications:

• Minimum of 48 credits and higher
• Experience working with children with Special Educational needs
• Experience working with personal care
• US Work Authorization
• Zen Educate cannot provide sponsorship for an employment visa or relocation assistance at this time.

English Physical Requirements:

• Comfortable being on your feet and moving around the classroom throughout the day
• Able to lift up to 20 lbs and safely assist students when needed (kneeling, bending, quick response)
• Additional physical requirements may be requested during your application process

Preferred Qualifications:

• Past work experience in a school

CPI Training Salary Pay :

$19

• $21 per hour, paid weekly.

Schedule :

Monday to Friday, within hours of 7:30 am

• 3:00/4:30 pm (no weekend work).
