:- Candidates with endorsements in CLDE, Bilingual Ed, Foreign Language, and/or sheltered content or other English Language instructional training desired
- Be up to date on current learning theory and state of the art pedagogy in teaching
- Demonstrate effective interpersonal relationships with students, staff members, parents and administrators
- Has knowledge and experience of and/or willingness to gain knowledge of Competency-based Education approaches
- Must be able to read, write, and comprehend English
- Bilingual desired
- Experience and/or skills working with culturally diverse populations desired

:- Provides coverage for teachers who are absent throughout Westminster Public Schools
- Plans for student differences.
- Applies principles of teaching/learning to provide for student achievement.
- Adjusts instruction to meet student needs.
- Communicates effectively with learners.
- Maximizes learning time for all students.
- Displays a fair and just manner for all students.
- Communicates an effective system for classroom discipline per Board Policy and building regulations.
- Plans effectively and purposefully for the use of time, materials, and resources.
- Creates a classroom environment that promotes instruction.
- Organizes students for effective instruction.
- Demonstrates effective interpersonal relationships with students, staff members and administrators.
