Substitute Teacher

Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Substitute Teacher to join our educational team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining a positive learning environment and ensuring that students continue to thrive in their educational journey during the absence of their regular teacher. This role requires effective communication skills, adaptability, and a strong commitment to student development. Duties Implement lesson plans provided by the regular teacher to ensure continuity of instruction. Manage classroom behavior and maintain a safe, respectful, and productive learning environment. Communicate effectively with students, staff, and parents regarding student progress and classroom activities. Provide support in tutoring students as needed, focusing on individual learning needs. Assist in curriculum development by offering feedback on lesson effectiveness and student engagement. Engage with children in various activities that promote learning and social interaction. Foster a nurturing atmosphere that encourages children's growth and development, particularly in preschool or Montessori settings. Experience Previous experience working with children in a classroom or childcare setting is preferred. Familiarity with private school environments is a plus. Experience in behavior management techniques to support diverse learners. Background in tutoring or educational support roles is beneficial. Knowledge of Montessori methods or preschool education is advantageous but not required. Strong communication skills are essential for interacting with students, parents, and colleagues effectively.
