Start Date:
July 20th (only on an as needed basis )
Hourly Rate:
$140.00 (full day); $70 (half day-a.m./p.m.)
Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday:
7:30-3:15 (whole day)
Wednesday:
7:30-2:15 Jobs may be for a full day or for a half day.
Requirements:
AA Degree or completion of 60+ college credit hours
PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES
The substitute teacher will work on an as-needed basis . This is not a job that has guaranteed work daily. We will notify the substitute teacher when we have days available for work or may contact the substitute teacher early in the morning for a teacher who is ill. The substitute teacher must be reliable and on time. The substitute teacher will follow the regular teacher's lesson plans in a way that ensures consistency and optimal learning, maintain a well-managed classroom, supervise students at all times, and follow the school's behavior plan. Applicants must have a minimum of 2 years (60 hours) of college credit, experience working with elementary-aged children in a school setting, and be able to pass a Level 2 background check with fingerprinting ( https://info.flclearinghouse.com/education-awareness). Substitutes will be responsible for the cost of the background check/fingerprinting.
