  • Job Summary:
  • St. Raphael Catholic School is looking for a dedicated Substitute Teacher to join the team on an as-needed basis. The Substitute Teacher will be responsible for following lesson plans, maintaining a positive classroom environment, and ensuring student learning in the absence of the regular classroom teacher.
  • Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Education or related field Teaching certificate or substitute teacher permit Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to manage a classroom and engage with students effectively Flexibility and adaptability to work in different classroom settings
  • Responsibilities:
  • Follow lesson plans provided by the absent teacher Manage the classroom environment to ensure a positive and productive learning experience Implement effective teaching strategies to facilitate student learning Maintain a safe and inclusive classroom atmosphere Communicate with school staff and administrators as needed Provide feedback on student behavior and academic performance Uphold school policies and procedures Complete any necessary paperwork or reports related to the day's activities Employment is contingent upon successful completion of a Level 2 background screening.
