  • Job Summary:
  • Morning Star School is seeking a dedicated Substitute Teacher to join our team and to make a positive impact on the lives of students who learn differently. For more information about our school and the rewarding opportunity to work with our students, please visit our school website.
  • Qualifications:
  • Successful completion of a Level II background screening and mandated diocesan trainings. Bachelor's degree in Education, preferably in a special education related field. Experience working with children, preferably in Exceptional Student Education.
  • Responsibilities:
  • Implement lesson plans left by the absent teacher or create and deliver engaging lessons. Maintain a safe, faith-filled and supportive classroom environment. Supervise students in various settings within the school. Communicate effectively with school staff, students, and parents.
  • Additional Requirements:
  • Adhere to school policies and procedures.
Flexibility to adapt to different classroom environments and grade levels. Strong organizational skills to manage classroom activities effectively.
