Job Summary:
- Morning Star School is seeking a dedicated Substitute Teacher to join our team and to make a positive impact on the lives of students who learn differently. For more information about our school and the rewarding opportunity to work with our students, please visit our school website.
Qualifications:
- Successful completion of a Level II background screening and mandated diocesan trainings. Bachelor's degree in Education, preferably in a special education related field. Experience working with children, preferably in Exceptional Student Education.
Responsibilities:
- Implement lesson plans left by the absent teacher or create and deliver engaging lessons. Maintain a safe, faith-filled and supportive classroom environment. Supervise students in various settings within the school. Communicate effectively with school staff, students, and parents.
Additional Requirements:
- Adhere to school policies and procedures.
