As a Cognia-accredited , faith-based Christian school, CES Academy is committed to academic excellence while nurturing students' spiritual, emotional, and intellectual growth. Our classrooms utilize a differentiated learning approach , recognizing that every student learns differently. We are looking for substitute teachers who are flexible, compassionate, and committed to supporting a Christ-centered learning environment where every child is encouraged to reach their God-given potential. Responsibilities Follow lesson plans provided by the classroom teacher while maintaining instructional continuity. Foster a safe, respectful, and Christ-centered classroom environment. Support differentiated instruction by adapting to the diverse learning needs of students. Maintain effective classroom management and encourage positive student behavior. Supervise students throughout the school day, including classroom activities and transitions. Take attendance and complete any required reports for the regular teacher and administration. Uphold the mission, values, and policies of CES Academy. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree preferred. Previous experience working with children in a classroom, childcare, tutoring, or similar setting is preferred. Strong communication, organizational, and classroom management skills. Ability to adapt quickly to different grade levels and classroom settings. Demonstrate professionalism, reliability, and a positive attitude. Support and respect the Christian mission and values of CES Academy. Must successfully complete all required background screenings and employment eligibility requirements.
