Expertise in the science of reading and providing high-quality math instruction (both whole class and small group) in a collaborative environment is beneficial. Candidates should be active contributors to the collaborative practice of the second grade team, including participation in data analysis, development of interventions, prioritizing of standards, and development of content area proficiency scales and assessments.
