Job Description

Williamsburg Community School District and Mary Welsh Elementary are seeking applicants for a long term substitute for a second grade general education classroom position to begin at the start of the 26-27 school year. Candidates who apply can expect to join a strong and professional team of 2nd grade teachers who value the success of students in all 2nd grade classrooms, and care about the wellbeing and success of their peers, as well. Expertise in the science of reading and providing high-quality math instruction (both whole class and small group) in a collaborative environment is beneficial. Candidates should be active contributors to the collaborative practice of the second grade team, including participation in data analysis, development of interventions, prioritizing of standards, and development of content area proficiency scales and assessments.
