Full Job Description Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated Substitute Teacher to join our team. As a Substitute Teacher, you will play a crucial role in maintaining continuity in the absence of the regular classroom teacher. This position offers a rewarding opportunity to work with students across various grade levels and subjects.
Duties:
  • Implement lesson plans left by the absent teacher to ensure a seamless educational experience for students.
  • Provide instruction, encourage student participation, and manage classroom behavior effectively.
  • Adapt teaching methods and materials to meet the needs of individual students.
  • Maintain a positive and respectful learning environment for all students.
  • Collaborate with school staff to support the academic and social-emotional growth of students.
Experience:
  • Experience in tutoring, preschool, or early childhood education is preferred.
  • Strong classroom management skills to engage students effectively.
  • Knowledge of math, childhood development, and curriculum development.
  • Familiarity with private school settings and working with children with autism is a plus.
  • Ability to plan engaging lessons that align with educational standards.
