Building Substitute Teacher Reports to: William Henry Harrison High School Building Principal Southwest Local School District is searching for a Building Substitute for William Henry Harrison High School for the 2026/2027 school year.
Salary Schedule:
$135 per day Teacher hired will be paid through HCESC's Aesop Substitute Teaching System. Candidate must also apply through www.

Responsibilities:
Utilize and implement developed teaching plans in the absence of a Teacher. In the event a substitute position is not needed, an alternate schedule will be followed. Adhere to and be knowledgeable of all provisions outlined in federal, state, and local guidelines for evaluation, identification, placement, and educational programming for special education students. Work as an integral team member with related services specialists, professionals from outside agencies and parents in implementing a student's IEP. Provide a safe learning environment in the classroom. Working knowledge of Ohio Extended Standards is a plus.
Qualification Profile:
Passing Background and Fingerprint examination.
Additional Duties:
Performs other related tasks as assigned by the Principal and other central office administrators as designated by the Superintendent.
