Immediately Job Description Danvers Public Schools is currently recruiting for daily substitutes for the 2025/2026 school year. As a daily substitute, you will be working on a per diem, as-needed basis. Subbing is approximately 6.5 hours per day. The school start and end times vary by school.
Role & Responsibilities:
Builds positive, caring relationships to ensure all students feel valued, respected, equitably supported, and a sense of belonging in the classroom community. Perform related duties in the absence of the regular classroom teacher to provide continuity in the day-to-day responsibilities by implementing the teacher's prepared lesson plans. Provide instructions according to lesson plans as prepared by the classroom teacher or create lesson plans in absence of a prepared lesson. Maintain compliance with all District policies and procedures.
