Teacher - Short Term Substitute Job Summary Responsible for implementation of course of studies aligned with the Massachusetts Curriculum Frameworks. In addition, the educator would provide for a supportive learning environment for all students.

Courses include:

Honors Geometry, College Prep Geometry, and College Prep Algebra 2 with Trigonometry.

Qualifications Education:

Hold a Bachelor's degree or Master's degree in Education Hold a Massachusetts Teaching License for field and grade level for position Meets all state and federal guidelines in order to be fully licensed and Highly Qualified Current authorization to work in the United States - Candidates must have such authorization by their first day of employment Excellent written and oral communication Ability to use technology effectively Current knowledge of implementation of best practice in curriculum Responsibilities Creatively provide an interdisciplinary course of study that supports the current curriculum. Provide for differentiated instruction to meet the needs of all learners, including students with disabilities and English learners. Provide opportunities for the integration of technology into the classroom. Create a developmentally appropriate, child-centered environment that establishes positive student behavioral expectations conducive to all learners needs through structured routines, and positive behavioral interventions. Establish classroom structure that values positive relationships through intentional implementation of appropriate curriculum. Provide an equitable and inclusive learning environment that is responsive to all learners and their families. Partner with families to create strong two way communication. Regularly partner and plan with other department, and school teams to provide the best educational program possible for all students. Collaborate and communicate with all colleagues to positively contribute to the school culture. Implement assessments to measure student progress in their course of study.
