Norwood Public Schools is actively hiring Daily Substitutes for the 2026-2027 school year across all grade levels. The daily substitute's responsibilities include (and are not limited to) following lesson plans to deliver engaging classroom instruction, managing student behavior to ensure a safe, productive learning environment, building relationships with school staff and maintaining effective communication, and encouraging students social, physical, and intellectual growth through meaningful activities. Flexible Schedule:

Work on a per diem, on-call basis with no minimum assignment requirements.

School Hours Include:

Willett Early Childhood Center:

8:10 AM•1:40 PM

Little Mustangs Preschool Academy:

Various sessions between 8:30 AM•2:30 PM

Elementary Schools:

7:35 AM•2:15 PM

Coakley Middle School:

8:45 AM•3:20 PM

Norwood High School:

8:15 AM•2:50 PM

Competitive Pay:

Certified Teacher:

$150/day

Non-Certified Teacher:

$140/day

Non-Degreed Teacher:

$130/day

Paraprofessional Aide:
