The pay range for this position is $55,000 to $64,780 annually, depending experience and education. This position is located in Rutland, MA. The schedule for this position is Monday-Friday, 8:00am-4:00pm. $1,000 Sign-On Bonus Devereux Massachusetts and Rhode Island is a nationally recognized organization dedicated to helping children and adults with Autism Spectrum Disorders and other psychological, emotional, and behavioral disorders. Based in Rutland, MA, the Devereux Day School serves individuals age 6 through 21 who present with issues such as disruptive behaviors, mood/anxiety disorders, complex trauma, or abuse-reactive behaviors. You could be a part of an exceptional team of staff who support the needs of students in grades K-12 and beyond as they work towards diplomas and learn vocational, transitional, and social-emotional skills. Our students have typically experienced multiple academic failures, most often resulting from a wide variety of social, emotional, and behavioral challenges. The help you provide will make a difference in their lives! As a teacher, you will: Prepare and teach lessons in accordance with MA Curriculum framework and students' IEPs. Provide supervision of teacher's aides in the classroom. Work diligently to meet the needs of our students, both in the classroom, and by being a positive role model to others. Must be 21 years of age or older Valid driver's license required Bachelor's degree required Commitment to obtaining Massachusett's DESE licensure in Moderate Disabilities required Previous experience working with individuals under 21 with psychological, emotional, and behavioral disorders, and/or autism spectrum disorders preferred Must be able to attend a 2-week paid orientation, Monday to Friday, 8AM to 4PM, in Rutland, MA Devereux has a zero-tolerance policy for abuse and maintains policies and procedures to systematically reduce the risk of abuse to occur in our organization.
