Job Description

Sharon High School is seeking a full-time building substitute.
Responsibilities:
In the absence of the classroom teacher, provide instruction and manage the learning environment. Review and implement regular teacher's routines, procedures, lesson plans, and curriculum objectives. Assist in the coordination of other substitute teachers at Sharon High School. Establish and maintain a safe and orderly classroom environment. Report any student injuries, illness, and serious discipline problems to school administration. Monitor Lunches Monitor building breakout spaces and hallways Perform other duties as directed by school administration.
Qualifications:
Excellent written and oral communication, interpersonal and organizational skills. Able to adapt to sudden work assignment changes in response to immediate school/district needs. Work independently and in a team environment. Work cooperatively with students and SPS employees. A sense of humor and a proven ability to work in a polite and friendly manner with all employees and community members.
