Job Description

Step into a meaningful role supporting students in educational settings as a paraprofessional for the 2026-2027 school year. This full-time contract position offers the opportunity to make a real difference every day by aiding students who benefit from individualized support. You may work 1:1 with students in severe, resource, or self-contained classrooms or assist those with cognitive and emotional impairments. Alternatively, placement may be in a general education setting supporting students with mild to moderate needs. Assignments span all grade levels—flexibility and an open mindset are valued as placements may vary based on district needs, with consideration given to preferences.
Key Qualifications:
At least 60 semester hours of college credit (with official transcript), or Associate degree or higher, or ETS Parapro Assessment score of 460+ or SAT scores of 480+ in reading/writing and 530+ in math Compassion and patience working with students with varying abilities Experience assisting students with daily living skills (such as toileting/diapering) is a plus Ability to adapt to different classroom environments
Role Responsibilities:
Support students throughout the day as directed by certified staff Assist students with personal care and daily routines Foster a positive, inclusive learning environment Work collaboratively with classroom teachers and related service providers Maintain confidentiality and adhere to professional standards at all times In this position, you'll quickly build rapport with students and staff, receive ongoing support, and broaden your impact across diverse classrooms. Work hours may be between 7:15am-3:15pm or 8:15am-4:15pm, depending on your placement.
