No benefit eligibilty, other than Earned Safe and Sick Time (ESST) as provided by law. Requirements & Qualifications Bachelor's degree and required substitute teaching license (short-call, long-call, lifetime, or Tier 3 or Tier 4). Application Process Please apply online and attention application materials to Angel Lussier, Human Resources Supervisor. Once your teaching license is verified, you will be sent a background check link. Once your background check is approved, you will be invited to an in-person interview. Interviews will be held in the afternoon on Monday, October 19, 2026. Interview slots are assigned on a first come-first serve basis, and there will only be one date available in September. If you are not available to interview in August, please wait to submit your application to Substitute Teach in October. Selected applicants will complete in-person paperwork (bring your driver's license and social security card) on site following the interview. Substitutes will then be entered into SmartFind, our substitute management system and can begin substitute teaching starting Tuesday, October 20th, 2026. At this time, the decision as to whether there will be mandator (paid) substitute training has not been made.
