We are building a reliable roster of passionate educators to cover classes on an as-needed basis throughout the year.

Immediate Need:

We are actively seeking instructors local to the Columbia, MO area with availability during the summer months (specifically August) for substitute teaching and guest instruction opportunities, with ongoing subbing possibilities into the regular season. Responsibilities Deliver safe, engaging, and age-appropriate instruction across various dance styles tailored to different age groups and skill levels. Lead classes on short notice or step in for planned absences, maintaining continuity in technical progression and studio culture. Implement existing syllabus goals or adapt creatively to meet the needs of the class. Maintain a positive, focused classroom environment emphasizing proper alignment, safety, and encouragement. Adapt instruction to serve various age groups, from preschool creative movement through advanced youth dancers. Qualifications Strong background in dance performance and classroom instruction. Ability to demonstrate proper technique and instruct with an emphasis on safe movement practices. Excellent communication, reliability, and classroom management skills. Based in or near Columbia, MO , with reliable transportation.
