Opportunity to gain valuable classroom experience PaySubstitute Teacher and Paraprofessional positions are paid at a daily rate, equivalent to approximately $15.00-$15.63 per hour, depending on the assignment. Specific pay rates will be shared for each available assignment. What You'll Do As a Substitute Teacher or Paraprofessional, you'll help maintain a positive and productive learning environment by:

Following lesson plans provided by the regular classroom teacherEncouraging student participation and engagementManaging classroom behavior and maintaining a positive atmosphereAdapting instruction and support to meet individual student needsSupervising students in classrooms, hallways, cafeterias, and playgroundsAssisting with classroom activities and assignmentsHelping ensure students remain safe, supported, and on task throughout the school day Qualifications To be eligible, applicants must:

Have at least 36 college credit hours in any subject OR complete a Missouri DESE-approved online substitute training programObtain a Missouri Substitute Certificate or Teaching LicenseComplete a fingerprint background check (contact Penmac before scheduling this step)Successfully complete required Penmac training
