Job Summary St. Cletus School, a Catholic elementary school in St. Charles, Missouri, is seeking a faith-filled, caring, and compassionate Substitute Teacher to join our school community. We are looking for individuals who are committed to fostering a nurturing, child-centered learning environment that promotes academic excellence, spiritual growth, and social development in accordance with Catholic values and teachings.
Job Responsibilities Implement lesson plans provided by the regular classroom teacher across a variety of grade levels and subject areas. Maintain a positive, engaging, and orderly classroom environment that supports student learning. Supervise students throughout the school day, including during lunch, recess, classroom transitions, and other assigned duties. Ensure the safety, well-being, and appropriate behavior of all students at all times. Communicate effectively with school administrators and staff regarding classroom activities and any student concerns. Model Christian values and uphold the educational mission and teachings of the Catholic Church. Job Requirements Commitment to supporting the mission and values of Catholic education. Strong classroom management, communication, and interpersonal skills. Ability to adapt to different classroom settings and grade levels. Experience working with children or in an educational setting is preferred but not required. A positive attitude, flexibility, and a genuine desire to support students and faculty.
