e2112-03301 Job Description Empower young learners and support their development as a dedicated professional serving as a Visually Impaired Teacher in a full-time, long-term contract role. This position offers the opportunity to work 1:1 with pediatric students, ensuring individualized instruction and support in an educational setting near Concord, NH. Travel professionals are encouraged to apply for this on-site opening that values specialized skills and compassionate care.
Key Qualifications:
Bachelors Degree (B.A.) required Active state certification as a Teacher of the Visually Impaired Experience or strong interest in 1:1 pediatric instruction Commitment to fostering a positive, accessible learning environment Excellent communication and collaboration skills with students, families, and educational teams Flexibility to adapt materials and teaching strategies for students with visual impairments
Primary Responsibilities:
Provide direct, one-on-one instruction to a visually impaired student, collaborating closely with school staff Adapt and modify curriculum materials to accommodate individual student needs Implement individualized education plans (IEPs) and track student progress toward goals Advocate for the students needs, ensuring they receive comprehensive support to thrive academically and socially Participate in meetings, professional development, and ongoing communication with faculty and families Foster a safe, supportive classroom atmosphere where each students strengths and abilities are celebrated
