The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining a positive learning environment and ensuring that students continue to receive quality education in the absence of their regular teacher. This role requires effective communication skills, classroom management abilities, and a passion for working with children across two different age groups. Duties Implement lesson plans provided by the regular teacher, ensuring continuity of instruction. Manage classroom behavior and maintain a safe and respectful learning environment. Engage students in meaningful activities that align with curriculum standards. Provide support in curriculum development and lesson planning as needed. Foster relationships with students to encourage participation and enthusiasm for learning. Adapt teaching methods to accommodate diverse learning styles and needs, including those of students with special education requirements or autism. Communicate effectively with school staff regarding student progress and any issues that arise during the school day. Assist in the supervision of students during breaks, lunch, or other non-instructional times. Requirements Proven experience working with children in an educational or childcare setting. Strong classroom management skills and the ability to maintain order. Background in early childhood education or related fields is preferred. Familiarity with literacy education, math concepts, and special education practices. Experience in curriculum development, lesson planning, and tutoring is advantageous. Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with students, staff, and parents. A commitment to fostering positive childhood development through engaging teaching practices.
