Palisades Park, NJ Job Details Temporary | Part-time $20 - $30 an hour 1 hour ago Qualifications Teacher collaboration Collaboration English Working with students Classroom Teaching Full Job Description Job Overview We are looking for substitutes for grades 3-7 English summer classes. This is for 5 days from 8/13-8/20. Another day will be needed for orientation. Responsibilities Implement lesson plans provided by the regular teacher or develop engaging activities aligned with curriculum standards Support classroom management and behavior management strategies to foster a positive learning environment Assist students with their academic work. Collaborate with other staff members to coordinate activities and maintain classroom routines Communicate effectively with students, staff, and parents to provide updates on student progress and behavior Skills Ability to manage behavior effectively and create an inclusive atmosphere for all learners Excellent communication skills to engage with students individually or in small groups Demonstrated flexibility, adaptability, and enthusiasm for working in dynamic summer school environments This paid summer position is perfect for passionate educators or individuals eager to make a positive impact during the summer months.
