Responsibilities Deliver engaging lessons based on provided curriculum plans. Manage classroom behavior effectively to create a safe, respectful, and inclusive learning environment. Implement curriculum activities across subjects such as literacy, math, science, social studies, and special education needs. Adapt instructional methods to meet the diverse needs of students from various cultural backgrounds and with different learning styles. Communicate regularly with school staff and teachers to ensure continuity of instruction and student progress. Utilize educational technologies and computers to enhance lesson delivery and student engagement. Follow school policies, mandated reporting laws, and confidentiality guidelines while working with students. Requirements Prior experience working with children or adolescents in educational settings or childcare environments. Knowledge of classroom management techniques and behavior management strategies. Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with teachers, staff, parents, and students. Ability to adapt instruction for students with special needs, including those with autism or requiring special education support. Familiarity with curriculum development, lesson planning, and curriculum implementation across multiple subjects.
