September 2026 The Spencerport School District is currently accepting applications for Contract Substitute Teacher for the 2026-27 school year. This position supports Spencerport High School. Applicants must be fingerprinted and cleared for employment for the NYS Education Department before employment begins. The substitute is responsible for the fingerprinting fee; and will be reimbursed after having completed 10 days of employment.
Required Credentials :
NYS Teacher certification: Any content area
Preferred Credentials:
Successful prior teaching/student teaching experience; Knowledge of New York State Learning Standards and N.G.L.S; Technologically proficient
Appointment:
The contract substitute teacher is guaranteed employment for 100% of the in-person student days during the term of the appointment, and must provide exclusive availability to the Spencerport School District to serve as a per-diem substitute teacher.
Salary/Rate of Pay:
$175 per day
