2026-27 School Year The Spencerport School District is currently accepting applications for substitute teachers in all certification areas for the 2026-27 school year. Substitute teachers play a crucial role in maintaining continuity in the educational process when regular teachers are not available. Applications will be reviewed and based upon the certification needs of the district; selected candidates will be contacted for a screening interview. Applicants must be fingerprinted and cleared for employment for the NYS Education Department before employment begins. The substitute is responsible for the fingerprinting fee, and will be reimbursed after having completed 10 days of employment.
Salary/Rate of Pay:
$150.00 per day
Minimum Qualifications :
NYS Teacher Certification is preferred. Bachelor's degree in any major required or taking college coursework at a rate of not less than six semester hours per year toward teaching certification.
